| 2012 -2013 FINANCIAL REPORTS The $1.15 tax rate being adopted for the year 2012 is, in fact, exactly the same tax rate as in previous years. This same tax rate will generate additional revenue from property value increases within the district. The following statements are required to be posted on the district’s website per legislation passed by the 79th Texas Legislature in 2005 and the 81st Texas Legislature in 2009. This tax rate will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate.
